The line-up of distinguished talents include former Singapore’s National Arts Council Young Artist Award winners Donna Ong and Ezzam Rahman; Kirsten Tan\, known for being the first Singaporean filmmaker to clinch a prize at the Sundance Film Festival; Sarah Choo Jing\, winner of the prestigious gold prize PX3 Prix de la Photographie Paris and Peter Chua\, owner and co-head bartender at Crackerjack\, and winner of the Asia-Pacific regional title at the Diplomatico World Tournament 2017\, an international cocktail competition. \nPartner events ranging from artisan collaborations to four-hand dinners and Singapore-inspired cocktails will also be held alongside the showcase. Indian curries have long been paired with an Indian Pale Ale due to the hoppy nature of the beer but the reality is\, there are a number of beer styles that can complement a curry and we want to highlight some of the best in this Craft Beer and Curry Series. \nEach event will hero a selection of curries from one of the country’s that border the Mekong river\, providing you with the easiest way to cruise down the Mekong with a quality beer in hand. Chef Tiw has curated a five course\, shared menu that complements the beers from each brewery. Each dinner will feature three curries with a brewer on hand to chat through the selected beers they’ve matched to the dishes. \nWe don’t want this to be a stuffy\, formal night out – it’s just a great chance to enjoy brilliant curries alongside equally brilliant beers. DESCRIPTION:KENSINGTON ST – FESTIVAL VILLAGE\nKensington Street\, Chippendale will be abuzz throughout September as it is transformed into the official Sydney Fringe Festival Village. Two amazing pop-up spaces will host 20 nights of entertainment\, with dinner and show packages on offer to make a visit to the Village a truly satisfying evening. \nKensington Street Festival Village will be enlivened as a forum for creativity and provocation\, a feasting spot for the ravenous and will become a home away from home for Fringe nomads. The Village has been born out of a key presenting partnership forged between Kensington Street and Sydney Fringe Festival which will also see the centrally located street hosting our annual Fringe Ignite opening event on September 2nd. The partnership is helping bring Fringe culture to the literal CBD fringe\, only a four minute walk from Central Station\, and provides increased access to some of our festivals best shows to a whole new potential audience. \nFull program announced late July.
